New Construction of Lotte Lemke Daycare Center

New construction of a two-story timber structure with a flat roof on a concrete slab for the Lotte Lemke daycare center. The floor plan measures approximately 20x35 m. Above the concrete slab, a timber framework stands, partly on reinforced concrete plinths. The roof and ceiling are planned as cross-laminated timber ceilings or prefabricated ceiling elements made of glulam beams, resting on walls and beams. Loads from the roof and ceiling are transferred through the walls and the column-beam structure into the foundation. Load-bearing exterior walls are planned as timber frame walls, and load-bearing interior walls as cross-laminated timber walls. Bracing is provided by the roof and ceiling diaphragms and the cross-laminated timber interior walls. All solid components are conventional reinforced concrete constructions; only the elevator pit is planned as a watertight concrete (WU) structure. The exterior facades are divided into two surfaces: directly exposed facades are rough-sawn, green-glazed larch board formwork, while structurally covered areas are flat, three-layer timber panels with a light green glaze. Windows in weather-protected zones are timber windows with a beige glaze; all other directly exposed areas will have timber-aluminum windows. Reference heights are +/- 0.00 = +165.160m above sea level for the ground floor (top of finished floor), +3.540m = +168.700m above sea level for the first floor (top of finished floor), and +7.520m = +172.680m above sea level for the attic (top of parapet).
