Building Planning for the Expansion of the MPI for Biogeochemistry Institute Building, Jena

Building planning services according to § 34 in conjunction with Annex 10 of HOAI 2021 for service phases 1 to 9, plus special services, for the expansion of the MPI for Biogeochemistry institute building in Jena: demolition of an old greenhouse, expansion of an institute building with office, special, and laboratory areas, new construction of a greenhouse, and resulting conversion work on and within the existing building, in the technical infrastructure, and for supply and disposal lines in the ground. The estimated construction costs (cost groups 300+400) are 7.5 million € (net), with total construction costs (cost groups 200-700, excluding 611 and 612) of 12.5 million € (net). The expansion for office and laboratory areas extends over upper floor 1, ground floor, basement 1, and possibly basement 2, with approximately 590 m² net usable area 1-6. 12 additional parking spaces are planned in the outdoor facilities. Provisional measures ensure institute operations during the construction phase. Connection to the existing building is via a connecting bridge on upper floor 1 and on basement level 1. further items as per the tender documents.
