Building Object Planning for the Renovation of University Building A1 3, Saarland University

Building object planning according to §§ 33 ff. HOAI, service phases 2-9, for the renovation of the listed university building A1 3 on the Saarbrücken University campus. The building, constructed 1937-1939, is approximately 17 m wide and 40 m long, comprising 3 upper floors, a partially detached basement, and a developed attic. The renovation includes vertical barrier-free access, energetic renovation of the attic with roof insulation and a PV system, renewal of all windows including summer heat protection, and development of external sun protection variants for the listed facade. Facade insulation is not planned; only plaster renovation will be carried out. The attic conversion will follow the modern working environments (New Work) concept, integrating technical facilities for air conditioning or room air conditioning from TGA specialist planners. Project start is Q4 2026, with an estimated duration of 48 months. The estimated construction costs (KG 300+400) are approximately 5.47 million € gross.
