Delivery, installation, testing, and ready-for-operation commissioning of a grid-connected photovoltaic system on the canopy of the bus parking spaces at the new Freising bus depot: roof area approx. 34.5 × 57.5 m, roof pitch approx. 35°; 480 bifacial photovoltaic modules (double-glass design) with at least 450 Wp per module; total output approx. 216 kWp, occupied generator area around 959 m². Due to a centrally located fire wall, the PV generator is divided into two largely independent subsystems, each receiving its own three-phase string inverter with multiple independent MPP trackers. Cable routing over the fire wall must be avoided. Inverters are to be mounted in the canopy area or on designated supports. The scope of services includes the system-suitable substructure for roof-parallel module mounting, all PV modules, complete DC and AC cabling, cable tray systems, protection and switching devices, overvoltage protection, grounding and potential equalization, as well as communication and monitoring facilities. The substructure and all fastenings must be suitable for the existing timber roof construction; necessary fastenings and roof penetrations must be permanently and professionally sealed against water ingress. Execution must be coordinated with the timber construction, roof sealing, lightning protection, and electrical installation trades. Furthermore, the service includes the installation of a meter and connection distribution, the required feed-in management, and the complete coordination of the grid connection, metering, protection, and control concept with the responsible grid operator. The final low-voltage connection point must be clarified before execution (primarily transformer station, alternatively the low-voltage main distribution of the workshop). The contractor must prepare all necessary work and installation documents, calculations, proofs, module layout and string plans, as well as DC and AC wiring diagrams. After completion of installation, the system must be fully tested, parameterized according to the grid operator's specifications, and commissioned together with all protection, control, and monitoring functions. The scope of services also includes the instruction of operating personnel and the handover of complete revision, testing, and commissioning documents, including all project files and access data. Installation of the photovoltaic system is scheduled from November 2 to December 4, 2026. Provisional commissioning of the system (modules, DC cables, inverters) in 2026 is mandatory. Installation of the inverters and meter cabinet in the workshop is expected in 2027.
