Design services for new patient wards and treatment center, Niuvanniemi forensic psychiatric hospital

Design services for a new construction project at the Niuvanniemi forensic psychiatric hospital: Location Niuvankuja 65, Kuopio. The project has an estimated gross floor area of approximately 11,000 m² and includes six patient wards with 102 single rooms, as well as a treatment center. The procurement is divided into four separate design contracts: main and architectural design, structural and foundation design, HVAC and automation design, and electrical design. The design assignment is phased: Phase I covers tasks up to the building permit stage, Phase II covers tasks related to implementation design and construction preparation after the investment decision, and Phase III covers tasks during construction and the warranty period. Progression from one phase to the next requires a separate decision from the client.
