Planning Services for the Renovation of Residential Buildings, Helsinki

Project planning for the renovation of residential buildings in Vartiokylä, Helsinki, with an option for comprehensive design. The comprehensive design includes leadership by a principal designer, as well as architectural, landscape, structural, HVAC, electrical, and foundation design, including elevator consulting and Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM accuracy is detailed in the tender documents. As initial data for BIM, photogrammetric measurements of the building facades, roofs, and plot, along with point clouds of common areas and typical apartments, will be provided. The planning service includes obligations under construction law and building permit authority requirements, including BIM requirements for both the permit and acceptance phases across all design areas. The application for deviation decisions and placement permits/agreements, if required, is part of the design task.
