Project Management for the Restoration of Facades and Exterior Joinery at 12-14 Quai des Gesvres Building, Paris
Project management for the restoration of facades and exterior joinery at the building 12-14 Quai des Gesvres in Paris (75004), Avenue Victoria and Rue Adolphe Adam, as well as interior courtyard facades: The building comprises a ground floor and six stories, with a central courtyard built above the ground floor. Four main exterior facades and four small chamfered corner facades are to be addressed. The works include the restoration of ashlar and rendered facades, ironwork, rainwater drainage systems, lead elements, and the replacement of exterior joinery. As the building dates from the 1860s, heritage restoration expertise is required. Administrative authorization for the works must be obtained by the contractor. Planning for site organization must consider the site's use by active police services (24/7) and the public. A separate restoration operation for the Quai de Gesvres and Rue Saint-Martin facades, starting in 2027, is not part of this mission. The basic missions include: Preliminary Project Studies (APS), Definitive Preliminary Project Studies (APD), Project Studies (PRO), Assistance for the Award of Works Contracts (ACT/DCE), Conformity Review (VISA), Works Contract Execution Management (DET), and Assistance during Acceptance Operations and the Perfect Completion Guarantee Period (AOR). The content of the mission elements is defined by the Public Procurement Code and the decree of March 22, 2019.
