Project management for the renovation and extension of Building T at the Fritz Haber Institute: Partial demolition of office cubes and the central hall, complete dismantling of technical equipment, construction of an extension between the partially demolished cubes. The extension includes highly installed rooms such as laboratories and hazardous material storage, as well as central technology and technical infrastructure across three floors, including one basement. Planned features are an AI-controlled automated laboratory on the ground floor and wet chemistry laboratories with evaluation stations on the upper floor, divisible into multiple rooms. The future Building T will have a net usable area (NUF) of approx. 1,400 m² (approx. 3,370 m² gross floor area), divided into 80 m² chemical storage, two approx. 440 m² robot-operated AI-supported large-scale chemistry laboratories, approx. 440 m² wet chemistry laboratories, approx. 340 m² office space, and approx. 100 m² storage space. A room requirement of approx. 100 m² for NUF 7 and approx. 500 m² for technical areas has been determined. The estimated total construction costs (cost groups 200 to 700) amount to approx. 22,800,000 € net. Services include project management according to § 2 Booklet No. 09 AHO, 6th edition, project stages 1 to 5, action areas A to E, plus special services.
