Qualification System for the Purchase or Leasing of Buses and Coaches for Bus Éireann

Qualification system for the purchase or leasing of buses and coaches: Procurement of low emission coaches and school buses, and where possible, zero-emission coaches with low environmental impact, in compliance with the latest EURO VI Regulation, EPA’s guidelines on road transport vehicles, and the European Communities (Clean and Energy Efficient Road Transport Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulations 2021. The qualification system has a five-year term and is used to establish a panel, for which economic operators can apply by completing a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ). The panel is divided into six lots: Purchase of Buses and Coaches (Expressway), Lease of Buses and Coaches (Expressway), Purchase of School Buses and Coaches, Lease of School Buses and Coaches, Purchase of single or double deck city bus type vehicles, and Lease of single or double deck city bus type vehicles. Qualification onto the panel does not guarantee any work or contracts.
