Clearing of the servitude zone for the 110 kV overhead line Stara Reka: concerns land plots in forest and non-forest areas (urbanized, agricultural, protected, disturbed territories for restoration). The line, commissioned in 1957, which connects HPP "Batak" and s/st "Peshtra" and is serviced by Management MER Plovdiv, Pazardzhik department, has a nominal voltage of 110 kV, and a single triple pole line with horizontal phase conductor arrangement. The section of the 110 kV Stara Reka line designated for clearing passes through mountainous or rugged terrain, some parts lacking roads, making access with machinery difficult. The clearing includes removal of trees, bushes, and branches in the servitude on forest land plots (creating a swath); removal and pruning of individual trees, bushes, and branches in the servitude on non-forest land plots; removal of the cut wood mass to the left and/or right boundary of the servitude to clear the strip between the outer conductors; felling and transport of wood to a temporary storage (timber harvesting).
