Risk Management Software for the Köhlbrand Crossing

Provision and application of risk/opportunity management software for schedule and cost planning and risk management over the service period, for integral consideration of costs, schedules, and risks using probabilistic methods (Monte Carlo Simulation) and probabilistic representation of results with a distribution function. The software must be capable of applying probabilistic methods for total project costs by cost components (construction costs/planning costs, risks, nominalization) with assignment to various financing/cost types, displaying multiple project breakdown structures for different project structuring, presenting results of probabilistic cost and risk management at all levels of the project breakdown structure, displaying at least one schedule (Gantt chart), mapping a probabilistic, integrated risk, cost, and schedule model and simulating it via Monte Carlo simulation, visually displaying and processing the integral project model within the same tool, and centrally updating data for costs, risks, and schedules. Furthermore, probabilistic determination (simulation) of critical paths considering assessed risks is required, along with specifying under/overrun probabilities regarding budget/target costs (budget certainty) or a target date, risk evaluations using sensitivity analyses and quantile value of potential damage, mapping resource requirements over the project duration, and data exchange with existing systems, particularly MS-Excel import formats and MS-Project files. The software should support the user with integrated tutorials and help functions. Additionally, methodological support for building and defining RCM content, support for creating the execution schedule, for determining the risk budget, for developing nominalization, and for determining incentive mechanisms, implementation of risk management, RCM software and methodology training, and the provision of risk management software are included.
