Renovation of the Social Hall in Dělnický dům Peklo

Construction work and extension of a part of the Dělnický dům Peklo complex: Reconstruction and expansion of the large hall building, the adjoining cloakroom facilities, the staircase, and the entrance hall. The building complex includes two underground floors, one above-ground floor, and an attic. The area is bounded by Jízdecká, Tyršova, and Pobřežní streets, extending to the General Patton Bridge, on parcels no. 10265, 10266, 10267, 10268, 9393/1, 10563/31, 10563/4, 10563/8, and 5265/28 in Plzeň. The object is connected to the road network via Pobřežní and Jízdecká streets and is registered as a cultural monument (ÚSKP 47588/4-205). The scope also includes an additional building-historical survey and a comprehensive restoration survey. Valuable elements and structures identified by the building-historical survey will be professionally and carefully dismantled, then refurbished and stored. After scaffolding is erected, expert restoration surveys of the plasters and stone elements will be carried out. Following these surveys, the extent of the removal of existing interior plasters will be decided, with 100% removal expected in areas not deemed historically valuable. Across the entire facade, emphasis will be placed on securing any traces of original division, profiling, or coloring, considering element proportions and vertical connections, with the aim of maximum preservation of existing elements.
