Urban Development Plan for Szeged

Preparation of a new urban development plan and urban regulatory plan for the entire administrative territory of Szeged County with Municipal Rights (approx. 281 km², 157,282 inhabitants as of January 2025). This includes the elaboration of urban design requirements according to municipal decree 30/2017, the creation of a new urban identity manual, and its integration into the regulatory plan. Furthermore, the creation of a local protection decree for the individual and territorial protection, designation, and de-designation of local monuments is required. The planning will be carried out according to the requirements of Act C of 2023 on Hungarian architecture and Government Decree 419/2021 (VII. 15.), based on a thorough investigation and considering national, regional, and local spatial planning documents, as well as the geographical conditions and historical specificities of the city.
