Control Systems for Road, Street, and Track Lighting

Installation of control systems for road, street, and track lighting: Locations are partly in remote villages, but the main focus is on the church village and Luosto. Some lighting features luminaire-specific control (Luosto, Kelukoskentie klv, Siilastie, Jääkärintie), and the Pappilanniemi beach route has motion sensor control. The primary focus is on central control, enabling partial or full night-time shutdowns. Control devices are leased for 6 years, with two optional extensions of 2 years each. The contractor is responsible for device procurement, installation, and system functionality. Approximately 32 street light control centers in the church village, 4 track lighting control centers, 31 municipal lighting control centers in the rest of the road network, 2 track lighting control centers in Kakslauttanen, 6 street lighting control centers, and 5 track lighting control centers in Luosto are to be considered. The centers control LED and high-pressure sodium lighting. Additional control systems will be procured and installed as separately ordered hourly work during the contract period. Installation of the lighting control system for the control centers must be completed by 31.10.2026. Luminaire-specific controlled lighting must be under the new control system by 30.06.2027. In case of delay, a penalty of 0.25% of the total net price per working day, up to a maximum of 90 working days, will be applied. Works must comply with Finnish laws, regulations, norms, and industry standards, specifically 'Infra RYL 2022 General Quality Requirements for Infrastructure Construction' and InfraRYL 2025/2: 33000 Electrical, telecommunications, and mechanical systems. Responsible personnel must have suitable electrical training and at least 2 years of relevant work experience, be Tukes-registered, and possess at least an S2 electrical qualification or equivalent rights (e.g., A or A(sj) rights). further items as per the tender documents.
