General contractor services for multifunctional special areas in ZMedABCSchBw new building

Planning and construction of multifunctional special areas in the ZMedABCSchBw new building as general contractor services: Microbiological laboratories (two BSL3/S3 and BSL4/S4), pharmacological/toxicological laboratories, high-hygiene animal husbandry (VTH) combined with radiation protection, radiation protection area RK3-area, low-level laboratory. The scope of services includes the overall fit-out, spatial fit-outs, all technical systems, special systems, and other services. The gross floor area (GFA) of the special laboratory areas is approximately 10,300 m². Within the second stage of the competitive dialogue, a functional performance description is to be developed and updated. Implementation will be via a "Progressive Partnership Model" based on the principles of "Integrated Project Delivery" (IPA), founded on partner identification, collaborative project organization, shared risk-bearing, an incentive-based remuneration model, and the "open books" principle. The procedure involves two planned dialogue rounds, with the possibility of additional dialogue phases and a reduction of the bidder pool in the 2nd stage. Several full-day meetings on-site at Staatliches Bauamt München 1 are to be expected, further items as per the tender documents.
