Roof Sealing Works according to DIN 18 338 for BMUKN Extension Building

Roof sealing works (DIN 18336) for the BMUKN extension building in Berlin-Mitte, consisting of two 7-story building sections A and B, connected by a multi-story bridge: approximately 6,500 m² roof structures for retention roof above 6th floor with elevator and stairwell heads, approximately 41 m² roof structures for North bridge above 2nd floor, approximately 850 m² roof structures for retention roofs above ground floor, approximately 360 m² roof structures for meeting room roof above ground floor, approximately 63 m² roof structures for North canopy above ground floor, approximately 140 m² roof structures for inner courtyard above basement, approximately 135 m² roof structures for forecourt above basement / underground garage. The roof structures typically consist of vapor barrier, thermal insulation (mineral wool, foam glass, EPS, XPS), and two-layer sealing layers (bitumen-based, supplemented by plastic sealing membranes and liquid plastic systems at penetrations). All roof drainage elements with external drainage via attics for free-flow drainage, emergency drainage, and other services such as roof upstands and flashings are included. Also included are 10 smoke exhaust openings (RAÖ-Oberlicht) above stairwells (clear inner dimension 1.20/1.50 m), 5 smoke exhaust flaps (System-Dunkelklappen) above ground floor (clear inner dimension 1.25/1.25 m), 2 PR-skylights (single-part fixed glazing, resistance class RC3) above ground floor (clear inner dimension 1.40/1.40 m). A rope safety system of approximately 170 m anchor constructions (stainless steel fall protection rope guide according to DIN795C) with approximately 28 single anchor points and approximately 23 traversable intermediate holders is also included. Execution to begin no later than 12 working days after receipt of the order letter, completion by calendar week 21 2028, no later than the last working day of that week. Assembly on site to begin in calendar week 26 2027. The execution period is 18 months. The contractor must contribute to BNB certification (Gold for the building, Silver for outdoor facilities), observing requirements for low waste, noise, and dust, as well as the Federal Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Ordinance. Material requirements according to Annex 01 "Materialanforderungen" (quality level 5) and declaration of all materials according to Annex 02 "Deklarationstabellen" (Excel) with technical data sheets and safety data sheets (1907/2006/EG) must be fulfilled. further items as per the tender documents.
