Development of a cross-sectoral method for deriving environmental performance values (BAT AEPLs): analysis of important elements such as system boundaries, comparable aggregates (process, plant), data availability, and reference values; consideration of the heterogeneity of plants, processes, and products; examination of existing concepts for consumption determination (e.g., environmental management, benchmarking) in individual sectors for usability and transferability to the Sevilla process; testing of the developed method using various example sectors to ensure practical applicability.
