Road Surface Renewal S 286 at Junction B173, Section 1

Road surface renewal of S 286 at junction B173, section 1, in Zwickau/Mülsen: Site setup and clearance, site security, provision and maintenance of a staging area. Includes approx. 1,700 m² of road surface renewal in standard construction (4 cm wearing course, 10 cm binder course) and approx. 7,750 m² of road surface renewal in the investigation area with complete replacement of the existing asphalt pavement (approx. 20 cm) by standard construction (26 cm). This involves the removal of existing asphalt (10 cm base course, 7 cm binder course, 3 cm wearing course with additives), preparation of the subgrade by removing the frost protection layer by approx. 6 cm and creating the new top edge of the frost protection layer, and the installation of asphalt in standard construction (14 cm base course, 8 cm binder course, 4 cm wearing course) on the prepared subgrade. Further services include the creation of the new lower edge of the asphalt in the existing frost protection layer, stripping and restoration of approx. 2,200 m of embankment (partially with distance guardrails), surveying services for the creation of a pavement book, renewal of existing traffic equipment (excluding distance guardrails), new road marking, renewal of guide posts and signage. A safety and health protection coordinator is required. Planning services include obtaining traffic law orders, shaft certificates, and inventory. Execution period: October 5, 2026, to October 30, 2026, with a full road closure of 26 calendar days. Alternative bids and multiple main bids are not permitted. A security for contract performance of 5% of the contract sum (from 250,000 Euros) and a security for defect claims of 3% of the billing sum are required. Payments will be made according to VOB/B. Bidding consortia must be jointly and severally liable. Required proofs include qualification of the person responsible for safety work (MVAS), a bidder's declaration for marking materials, and qualification proofs for specialists and companies for road markings (ZTV M). Original calculation must be submitted.
