Research on AKR Test Cement Batches and Expansions in Rapid Test Procedure
Research project: Investigation of the influence of various AKR test cement batches on the statistical distribution of expansions in the rapid test procedure using different aggregates (VDZ AKR reference aggregate, chippings). The aim is to identify specific cement properties to define binding requirements for future test cement batches, minimizing fluctuations. This is due to the transition from CEM I 32.5 R to CEM I 42.5 R for rapid test procedures according to TP-Beton-StB 1.1.11 or rapid mortar tests according to TP-Beton-StB 1.1.12, intended to prevent alkali-aggregate reactions in concrete road surfaces.
