Evaluation of ground surface textures on concrete pavements: Non-contact determination of longitudinal evenness

Development and testing of a measurement method: Identification and testing of a measurement method for non-contact measurement of ground structures on concrete pavements. This includes describing the effects of directional grinding textures on common measurement methods for determining longitudinal height profiles (e.g., HRM beam), comparing them with adapted variants or alternative measurement systems, based on Planograph measurements. Additionally, a concept for calculating longitudinal height profile points, considering the rib and groove of grinding textures, is to be developed. The method should be applicable for condition assessment and contractual measurements on all known road surfaces.
