Major Renovation and Landscaping for Park „Pametnitsite“, Svishtov

Construction and assembly works for the major renovation, landscaping, and improvement of Park „Pametnitsite“ in Svishtov: reconstruction and renewal of paths with granite paving (3,603 m²), delivery and laying of new stone curbs (1,516 linear meters), laying of stone slabs on leveled ground (2,525 m², 70% old, 30% new according to original pattern), delivery and laying of stone slabs with leveling sub-base material for new stone paving with grass joints (294 m²), rearrangement of stone stair elements (298 linear meters), repair of retaining walls (377 m²), installation of 84 energy-efficient park lights and a video surveillance system, protection of existing tree and shrub vegetation, application of phytosanitary measures, and planting of new ornamental vegetation with an ecological approach (1,129 evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs, 4,130 roses, bulbous, and seasonal flowers), restoration and grassing of damaged green areas with multi-component grass seed mixtures without invasive or allergenic species (2 decares of grassing), renewal of park furniture by installing 46 benches, 34 waste containers, and other elements, delivery and installation of 30 bird and bat houses, and 10 insect hotels, provision of an accessible environment for people with disabilities, including the creation and marking of a disabled parking space. The activities are part of the project „Joint Actions for Nature, Biodiversity and Pollution Reduction in Svishtov and Zimnicea“, funded by the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria 2021-2027 Program. The construction is classified as FIRST CATEGORY.
