Building design: Service phases 1-9 HOAI, phased commissioning for the general renovation of building section C and the administrative areas of building section B of the Aartalschule in Aarbergen-Kettenbach. Building section C (built 1971/72, three floors) includes a library, cafeteria, technical rooms, transformer station, science and craft rooms, collection rooms, server room, and 6 classrooms. Significant renovation backlog in the specialized rooms, outdated technical systems, energetic upgrade of the building envelope (new windows, facade, roof structure) required. Fundamental changes to the room layout are possible, increased effort due to contaminated materials during conversion and demolition. Existing areas: Building section C 3,497.81 m², Building section B Administration 245.97 m².
