Design Services for Railway Crossing and Road Intersection in Debrecen
Design services for the reconstruction of the Vértesi út railway crossing as a grade-separated intersection and the development of the main road no. 4 intersection in Debrecen: including stormwater drainage, road construction, pedestrian and cycle path construction, and related utility constructions (public lighting, telecommunications, drinking water, sewage). Main design quantities include the design of an approximately 650-meter long, 2x1-lane, grade-separated road, pedestrian, and cycle crossing, the design for the expansion of a main road intersection from 2x1 to 2x2 lanes over approximately 300 meters, and the design of a total of approximately 950 meters of new road construction with at least 2x1 lanes. The detailed design task involves the correction of Debrecen Vértesi út over approximately 650 m with 2x1 lanes, the conversion of existing at-grade railway crossings to grade-separated crossings, and the creation of a new classified intersection at km 221+425 of main road no. 4, including pedestrian and cycle facilities. A separate pedestrian and cycle facility must be designed along the entire length of this road section. The intersection on main road no. 4 must be designed based on traffic studies, ensuring separate lanes for all turning directions and accommodating pedestrian and cycle traffic, including traffic light control. The design must consider UVATERV Zrt.'s plans for 2x2 lane expansion of main road no. 4 and SpeciálTerv Építőmérnöki Kft.'s plans for the Ebes-Debrecen rural cycle path. The connection between the main road intersection and the collector road (designed by Terv-Tár Bt.) must be designed over approximately 300 m with 2x1 lanes, allowing for future expansion to 2x2 lanes, and a separate pedestrian and cycle facility on the north-eastern side. The designer's tasks include preparing a BIM execution plan, decision-making documentation, complete permit documentation (suitable for obtaining all necessary permits), and complete execution design documentation. This includes separate documentation for each specialist area and related facilities, preparation of priced and unpriced designer budgets for the construction procurement documentation, and a schedule for approval processes and milestones, to be submitted within 10 days of contract effectiveness. Formal requirements: delivery of 2-2 color paper copies of the BIM execution plan and decision-making study, 3 color paper copies of the permit documentation, 5 color paper copies of the execution design documentation. All tasks must also be provided digitally in full scope, two copies per task (either via digital storage for a minimum of 1 year or on digital media). Documents are to be delivered in formats such as .pdf/a, .dwg, .pla, NMHH EHO XML, digitally signed .pdf/a, editable .doc, and .xls, further items as per the tender documents.
