Subject-specific tutoring (German and Mathematics) for learning support at Startchancen schools in Brandenburg: structured and continuous support measure based on Brandenburg curricula and individual learning needs in German and/or Mathematics. Tutoring is provided in small groups with a maximum of four learners per group. Up to six groups can be formed per primary and special school, up to four groups per secondary school, and up to two groups per vocational school. Learning groups can be subject-specific or interdisciplinary. Tutoring sessions typically occur twice weekly, 45 minutes each, on different weekdays, with at least two tutoring sessions for different groups taking place consecutively on one day if at least two groups are formed. Learning support is implemented in person on the premises of the respective school. No tutoring takes place during Brandenburg school holidays. Documentation of learning development is required, including attendance records, short progress reports, and records of learning progress and needs.
