Study on environmental, climate, and sustainability-related attitudes and engagement of young people 2027: Collection of environmental attitude patterns and behavioral readiness among young people (14 to 22 years). Building upon previous preliminary studies (last one from 2023) to analyze developments in environmental awareness of young people by continuing time series. Identification of participation desires and engagement readiness of young people in various environmentally relevant areas, investigation of the conditions for acceptance of environmental policy among the younger generation. Discussion and further development of environmental challenges, environmental policy needs, fundamental socio-ecological transformation, and potential solutions from the perspective of young people. Application of a social science methods mix including qualitative, quantitative, and participatory methods. Creation of a public short publication and an interactive dashboard. Development and implementation of various materials and formats for the dissemination and discussion of results.
