Preparation of technical documentation (D.A.L.I.) and technical expertise for the bridge on DJ 707A at km 1+271 over the Mureș River in Săvârșin, Arad County: The bridge has a total length of 175.00 m with four spans of 39.80 m each, was built in 1897 and consolidated in 2007. The superstructure consists of four metal decks, each with two main parabolic truss girders with a bottom deck. The abutments and piers are made of carved stone masonry with cement mortar. The roadway on the bridge is 4.20 m wide, supplemented by two sidewalks, each 0.90 m wide. Visual inspections reveal damage to main girders, stringers, and crossbeams, as well as the reinforced concrete slab of the deck, including corrosion, rust spots, paint exfoliation, local deformations, and significant section reductions. The infrastructure shows damage such as degradation of protective casings of foundation blocks, masonry damage with dislodged stones at pier foundations, lowering of the riverbed with exposure and erosion of foundations, insufficient embedment, cracks in guard walls, powdery, friable, and exfoliated masonry, washed-out masonry joints, infiltrations, efflorescence, and vegetation. The bridge ramps have an asphalt pavement of approx. 5.50 m width with cracks, fissures, crazing, aging, and porosity. The asphalt concrete roadway on the bridge is 4.20 m wide and does not meet the technical class IV requirements for county road bridges, showing cracks, fissures, crazing, rutting, undulations, and potholes. A technical expertise from 2023 by SC PROCONSINFRA SRL confirms an unsatisfactory technical condition and recommends a tonnage restriction of maximum 7.50 tons.
