Building physics for the new construction of a municipal depot in Leutkirch im Allgäu: The depot includes a two-story office and common room building with sanitary facilities for 55 employees, aiming for KfW-Efficiency House Standard 40; three workshop buildings (one for electrical, carpentry, and joinery; one for masonry, construction crew, and traffic technology; a third for gardening, locksmith, and car workshop); a vehicle hall as a wood-hybrid building (reinforced concrete columns and glulam beams) with approx. 2,100 m² GFA (R); and 38 covered parking spaces. A photovoltaic system (approx. 5,000 m²) is to be planned. The car workshop is to be equipped with a ceiling crane (5 t load capacity), a lift for narrow-gauge vehicles, a column lift for cars, and storage for diesel (3,000 l), oil, and lubricants. The cost ceiling for the municipal depot (KG 200-700) is 15 million € gross. Estimated costs (as of 2026): KG 300 + 400 approx. 10 million € gross, KG 500 approx. 1 million € gross. Planning is to commence immediately after commissioning, with completion aimed for mid-2029. The demolition of existing buildings is not part of this tender. In parallel, the new construction of the Leutkirch waterworks operating building is being tendered. Negotiation meetings are expected on 26.11.2026, 27.11.2026, or 30.11.2026.
