Building design for the new construction of a municipal depot in Leutkirch: The depot includes a two-story office and common room building (for 55 employees, KfW Efficiency House Standard 40), three workshop buildings (for electrical, carpentry, joinery; masonry, construction crew, traffic technology; gardening, locksmith, vehicle workshop), a vehicle hall as a timber-hybrid building (approx. 2,100 m² GFA (R)), 38 covered parking spaces, and a photovoltaic system (approx. 5,000 m²). The vehicle workshop requires a ceiling-mounted crane (5 t load capacity), lifting platforms for narrow-gauge vehicles and cars, and storage for diesel (3,000 l), oil, and lubricants. The cost ceiling for the depot is 15 Mio. € gross (cost groups 200-700), with estimated costs of approx. 10 Mio. € gross for cost groups 300+400 and approx. 1 Mio. € gross for cost group 500 (as of 2026). Planning services are to commence immediately after commissioning, with building completion aimed for mid-2029. The demolition of existing buildings is not part of this tender. A parallel tender is being issued for the new construction of the Leutkirch waterworks operating building.
