Roof Renovation and Insulation for Lánc Street Polyclinic
Roof renovation and insulation for the Lánc Street Polyclinic in Pécs, Lánc utca 12, covering an area of 650 m². Works include: demolition of vertical waterproofing on attic walls, superstructures, and ventilation superstructures; complete demolition of waterproofing and thermal insulation on pipe lead-throughs; demolition of existing mechanical ventilation superstructures, a roof hatch, partial demolition and modification of mechanical system support structures, metal sheet wall coverings, leaf baskets, overflows, ventilators, and electrical systems. Support structures: raising existing mechanical system support structures, design and dimensioning of new base structures according to static execution plans. Masonry: masonry around mechanical and electrical slab penetrations with 15 cm masonry elements and monolithic reinforced concrete slab construction. Openings: installation of an insulated roof hatch with insulated frame and glazing on an insulated raising frame. Thermal and waterproofing: flat roof thermal insulation, flat roof waterproofing with 2 layers of bituminous waterproofing membrane. Interior works: repair of indoor leaks, scraping damaged parts, plaster repair exclusively with air and vapor permeable plaster, necessary skimming layers exclusively with air and vapor permeable filler, indoor painting exclusively with air and vapor permeable paint. Facade works: creation of a new attic wall covering with a single drip edge and white exterior finish. Sheet metal works: use of galvanized drip edges and accessories, as well as painted metal sheet covering for attic wall coverings; drainage of staircase and elevator machine room superstructures with painted metal sheet downpipes and system elements. Steel structures: stainless painted steel superstructure with removable cover, additional gridded side vents; stainless painted steel support structures for cable routing. Fall protection: establishment of a weighted anchor point on the flat roof surface of the bridges connecting the northern and southern building parts. Flat roof level works: horizontal flat roof waterproofing remains, vertical waterproofing is completely removed, with the exception of the horizontal waterproofing of the two connecting bridges, which is completely removed. The new waterproofing system consists of 1 layer of bituminous vapor barrier and 2 layers of bituminous waterproofing membrane on the thermal insulation, both turned up on vertical wall surfaces. Repair of unevenness of horizontal roof surfaces with special mortar. Renovation of flat roof thermal insulation on horizontal and vertical surfaces and on attic walls. Demolition of existing drains, camera inspection and cleaning of drain pipes, installation of new lower drain elements and new upper drain elements with leaf basket. Creation of new superstructures around mechanical and electrical slab penetrations with 15 cm masonry, monolithic reinforced concrete slab construction, thermally insulated and waterproofed. Modification and raising of support structures for mechanical elements on the roof according to static execution plans. Creation of a new roof hatch after demolition of the existing roof hatch, further layer demolition, and demolition of the vertical concrete structure at the hatch edge. Slab structure design: raising the steel structure supporting solar collectors according to the new layer structure and snow load. Demolition of existing roof penetrations and creation of new ones. Cooling network works: the replacement of the entire roof waterproofing also affects the cooling system. The insulation of the pipes is torn, faulty, or damaged in several places. Due to the change in the roof layer structure, the entire network must be raised above the snow line. Solar collector system works: the replacement of the entire roof waterproofing also affects the solar collector system. System expansion is not part of the scope. System elements will be disassembled during the works. The system must be drained before demolition begins. After completion of the works, the solar collector system will be reassembled. The reassembled network must be filled and bled. After reassembly, the solar collector system will be completely re-insulated. Ventilation fans: ventilation of internal rooms is currently provided by exhaust fans through shafts. The fans are currently out of operation or non-functional. The fans and associated silencers will be demolished, and rain caps will be installed. Low-current systems: protection of existing optical and coaxial network cabling of still operating providers, installation of a 0.4 m high cable route from 200x60 mm cable trays. Protection of existing Cat5 cabling of the camera system. Disassembly and reassembly of camera support structures on the attic wall with spacer bracket and waterproof lead-through. Detailed information, task descriptions, technical and material requirements, and quantities are included in the design documentation, technical description, and unpriced budgets as an appendix to the KD.
