A BNB Gold certification is sought for the building and Silver for the outdoor facilities; the contractor must cooperate in the certification and observe requirements regarding low waste, noise, dust, and compliance with federal soil protection and contaminated sites regulations. Material requirements according to quality level 5 apply, and all materials must be declared regarding their ingredients/properties (Annex 02 “Declaration Tables” in Excel, technical data sheets and safety data sheets according to 1907/2006/EG).

Joinery work in the context of the replacement new build of a laboratory and office building and the renovation of a listed existing building (House 1) for the Federal Environment Agency in Berlin.
