Maintenance work for recultivated areas in Mücheln, Roßbach, and Lochau
Maintenance and development measures for recultivated areas: Annually approx. 14 ha of forest development area maintenance (mowing/mulching), approx. 55 km of mowing verges/shoulders, removal of game protection fences with approx. 5,500 m (2027), 2,500 m (2028), and 4,000 m (2029), approx. 1,800 m² of clearing at gauge locations, approx. 13 km of clearing the clearance profile of paths, approx. 36 t of disposal of metal, compact waste, pollutant-free wood, and contaminated old wood, approx. 5 km of clearing ditches and embankments, approx. 900 units of replanting forest plants/shrubs, approx. 40 units of high-stem cultivation, approx. 200 m³ of ditch desilting, approx. 20 units of pipe culvert flushing, approx. 260 m of flowing water profile maintenance, and approx. 30 units of control of hunting facilities (blinds and high seats). The areas are located in the former open-cast mining areas of Mücheln, Roßbach, Lochau, and Großkayna, maximum distance (as the crow flies): 24 km.
